MEDIA ADVISORY: Members of the global campaign to Kick Big Polluters Out decry the number of Big Ag lobbyists at COP30 and demand: “Stop frying the planet! Kick Big Polluters Out!”

Belém, Brazil— As the final days of the UN climate talks in Belém (COP30) approach, action is needed now more than ever. Yet, if week one of the talks is anything to go by, COP30 is set to underdeliver the urgent and just action we need. 

Join Kick Big Polluters Out (KBPO) partners–including IBON International, Asian Peoples’ Movement on Debt and Development, Demand Climate Justice, World Animal Protection, War on Want, and more– as they gather to release the number of Big Ag lobbyists present in the halls of COP30. Hear from frontline, Indigenous, Global South, and other climate justice activists about the impact industrial agriculture is having on the planet, our communities, and animals, and how these Big Polluters are trying to write the rules of climate action. 

When: Tuesday November 18, 2025 2-2:30 PM Belém
Where: COP30 venue, Action Zone 1 (across from the information centre)
Visuals: The action will feature a giant corporate executive puppet, a planet being barbequed and other visuals crafted by the Artivist Network

Kick Big Polluters Out is a coalition of more than 450 organizations across the globe united in demanding an end to the ability of Big Polluters to write the rules of climate action.
